China Glaze Unpredictable Nail Lacquer

Unpredictable is part of the Bohemian Luster Chrome collection launched for fall by China Glaze. All the 6 polishes in this collection are supposed to be duochrome and metallic

In the bottle, Unpredictable looks like a highly reflective, gold-green that flahes deep teal, with a chrome finish. On the nail, the color looks a little more flat, as the duochrome doesn't quite translate as much as I hoped. It's a shiny, metallic greenish gold with sparkles, much lighter than expected.

It does tend to become more blue depending on how the light hits your nails, but it really lacks the depth you can see in the bottle.

The formula is quite sheer, and I used 3 coats to achieve full opacity for the swatches. I had a lot of bubbling although I waited between each coat to let the polish dry, and applied very thin coats. I don't think the brush strokes show too much, which is good for this type of finish.

Overall, this is still a nice metallic shade for fall, but not quite as spectacular as I expected!

    1. Yes it's still very nice, I just wish the duochrome effect was a little stronger!
