I'm going on with reviews of Physicians Formula products, since they're 40% off at Rite Aid this week (check you local circular)! You can find reviews of the Cashmere Wear bronzer here, and the Happy Booster lipstick there.
Part of the pH Matchmaker range, pH Powered Lip Gloss is supposed to react to the pH level of your lips (not the temperature like a lot of mood swing glosses) to change into your perfect, unique shade.

Next in Lime Crime world: Alchemy collection
I guess Alchemy is the trendy inspiration this fall, since Lime Crime is coming up with a new collection on the theme, after Sephora + Pantone Universe Alchemy of Colors release. Alchemy by Lime Crime will be available on October 13th and comes in the form of an eyeshadow palette, two new shades of lipstick and a mook. Yeah, a mook. Seems to be a rare species of magazine/book, but I don't know much more about it...
The big thing about this collection is that pretty much everything is duochrome, woohoo! I'm a sucker for duochrome shades, didn't you notice that yet?

OPI nail polish My Very First Knockwurst
Can someone please explain me what OPI meant to say when they named this polish?? My very first [kind of sausage]? I have things that come to mind, but... I'm not a native English speaker, so I might be mistaken.
Anyway, My Very First Knockwurst is a shade of flesh, a rosy, light nude that I can wear because it doesn't lean too cool. It has a cream finish (no glitter, shimmer or sparkles of any kind) and dries down nice and glossy.

Urban Decay Smoked 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set - photos
If you thought, like I did, that the Ocho Loco set was gonna be the only eye pencil set from Urban Decay for the holidays, you were wrong! The Smoked set just launched, and it would be a perfect match for the recent Smoked palette.
It contains 6 shades of the famous 24/7 Glide-On pencils, the usual suspects Zero (black) and Demolition (matte dark chocolate brown), 2 colors that we already encountered in previous sets, Empire (matte dark purple) and Uzi (metallic gunmetal with silver micro-glitter), and 2 brand new shades, Smog (metallic warm brown copper) and Mainline (matte peacock blue).
The pencils are not full-size but travel-size, and the kit retails for $38. It's already available on Urban Decay's website, and should be released at Sephora, Ulta, Macy's in store and online (including beauty.com) around 9/27.
I like the idea of a smoky pencil set, but the shade I'm most curious about is definitely Mainline. Matte blue teal could be a big hit... or not depending on the exact tone and finish. Can't wait to see it in person!

Urban Decay Vice palette for holidays 2012: photos
UD is always killing me with their palette launches! The new Vice palette is already available on the brand's website and retails for $59.
Considering you have 20 new, never-seen-before exclusive eyeshadows, that's less than $3 per shade (!) and you get a bonus Good Karma double-ended shadow/crease brush. And I'm not even talking about the matte, deep purple sleek compact (a lot less space-consuming than the Books of Shadows, right?), with a shiny jewel to the glory of UD and a huge mirror. I have a thing for purple...

It's always hard for me to start using a brand new palette: they look so perfect when new that it breaks my heart to make dents in the pans! I finally put my little fingers in Balm Jovi palette by theBalm, that I showed you here.

Beauty shopping at Urban Outfitters
This is a quick "look what I got!" haul post. I've had store credit at Urban Outfitters for a couple months, for returning their infamous marble nail polish that marbles nothing (see pic here).
With just a few more bucks (okay, 10) I was able to get my paws on 4 different cute products, 2 of which were on sale: Paris gloss set from Cargo ($4.99 instead of $22!), the little Rockin in Rio palette from Stila ($4.99 instead of $16), NYX Stick Blush in Tea Rose ($6), and an amazing nail polish by Urban Outfitters brand named Sea Dust ($5 but 2 for $8) that I'm wearing right now (review coming soon) and I can already tell you, it's go-oh!-orgeous!

Sephora + Pantone Universe Jewel Lacquer in Purple Parachute
I could seriously have bought the entire fall Alchemy of Color collection from Sephora + Pantone Universe, but sadly, we all have to make choices. Purple Parachute was my number one crush when I saw pictures of all these pretty items (followed closely by Evergreen, another Jewel Lacquer I'll show you soon), because you know, a girl like me can't resist blue shimmer!

Balm Jovi Rockstar Face Palette by theBalm - Pictures
I think I can say that I collect theBalm palettes, now that I own 6 of them.... Balm Jovi is theBalm's new funky palette for the holidays, but it's already available on the brand's official website for $39.50. As soon as I heard about a "pre-release", I ordered mine!

Sephora + Pantone Universe Lip Luster Lipstick in Raspberry Radiance
Lip Luster Lipsticks might be the most intriguing item in the amazing fall collection called Alchemy of Color, the new collaboration between Sephora and Pantone. As soon as I saw the first picture, I knew I wanted one!
They look like little pieces of magic, with their white and transparent tube, and their double-chambered stick: a rich, pigmented core surrounded by a layer of clear balm full of blue glitter.

Germanicure by OPI: the fire within!
I finally tested the flamboyant German-icure by OPI nail polish, part of the Germany collection released for fall!
Application was a dream with the fluid formula and flat brush, and the rich, deep color was perfectly opaque in 2 layers.
